I'm a big believer in treating yourself and with the way 2020 has gone, I feel like a reward for surviving the last 8 months with my sanity mostly intact is much deserved. I've put together a Christmas wishlist of things I've been eyeing and no, buying everything is not an option. I need to narrow it down to 3 or 4 and I'm actually going to wrap them so I can put them under my tree to open on Christmas day (don't judge me).
Here's what I'm considering:
[top-bottom; left-right]
1. Margaux, the Demi flat | I've been looking at these flats on and off for a couple years now but never pulled the trigger. But when Kristin recently got a pair and told me how comfortable they were, I knew I had to put this on my list. Plus apparently, there's going to be a Black Friday Sale ...
2. Naadam Essential Cashmere Sweater | There's just something so luxurious about owning a cashmere sweater but the cost has always turned me off. Then I found out about this brand via Instagram and their "heavenly soft" cashmere sweater is only $75! I'm very tempted to get a basic black one to add to my closet.
3. Vrai Interlink Necklace | Most of my jewelry is fashion jewelry, with the exception of a couple items. My mom used to tease me about it all the time because she was all about that real 14k gold jewelry. I was thinking about that recently and how maybe I should start investing in some pieces and I came across across this necklace. It's simple and within a good price range.
4. Apple pencil | I go through phases of wanting an Apple pencil and I'm in a phase where I want it again. Right now I mainly use my iPad mini for reading and then every once in a while, I'll stream a TV show/movie. I think having a pencil would give me more reasons to use it!
5. Missoma Lucy Williams gold cameo necklace | You know how much I love my Missoma jewelry for unique pieces and spoiler alert, I already bought this! I ordered it a couple days ago because I got an early Black Friday code for 25% off that I could not let go to waste. It arrives soon and I can't wait!
6. Cuyana Saddle Bag | I've been wanting a saddle bag and originally I was considering the Dior Bobby one (which, to be honest, I haven't completely written off yet) but I might be getting a designer bag in January with my bonus if I get my promotion. So I thought this was a great alternative since I'm a huge fan of the brand.
7. Louis Vuitton Essential V bracelet | I actually tried this on in store fairly recently and it's super cute! It fit my wrist perfectly which was surprising. My only concern is that it's fashion jewelry so it could potentially tarnish if I'm not careful. I'd like to think I usually am though!
8. Diptyque jasmine candle | Usually I wouldn't consider spending this much on a single candle but like I said, I want to treat myself and this French brand is one that I've been curious about for years. I want to see if it lives up to the hype! I was torn between jasmine (my go-to scent) and roses (my second go-to) but I think I want to start with jasmine if I do get this candle.

I love the idea of wrapping gifts for yourself for Christmas morning! (And I obviously vote for Margaux shoes!)
ReplyDeleteI am all about treating yourself to presents on special occasions (specifically birthdays and the holidays)! I'm going to have to pick your brain on the Apple Pencil. I'm always considering getting one, but haven't taken the plunge yet!
