I recently saw a couple headlines that said something along the lines of, retail therapy during the pandemic, and I thought — welp, that's totally me. There's been a couple purchases I definitely didn't need and slightly regret but I'll be honest, I'm actually really happy with the majority of my shopping since they've either benefitted my apartment, my work at home situation, or my closet. So here's what I'm loving right now:
[from top-bottom; left-right]
Hello Adorn Ball Drop Bracelet | I am all about the dainty bracelets but it's always hard to find ones that fit. Even if they're adjustable, I sometimes get annoyed by the extra chain just dangling at the end. This bracelet fits my petite wrist perfectly though and it's just so pretty!
innisfree Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Toner | My pores are, along with rosacea, are the bane of my skin's existence. I think I've finally found products that are making a difference though and this is one of them. It's gentle on the skin and not drying at all.
Universal Thread Belt Bag from Target | If you asked me a couple years ago if I'd buy a fanny pack (sorry, belt bag!), I would've laughed and said no. But part of my exercise routine is going out on early morning walks and I felt so silly wearing a cross-body purse to carry my keys, phone, wallet and hand sanitizer. So I got the belt bag specifically for my walks which has been great but I find myself using it as a crossbody too when I have a quick errand to run.
Missoma Gold Mini Tidal Hoops | I had been eyeing these hoops for a long time but I kept telling myself I didn't need more earrings. But during my birthday month, they went on sale and of course, I had to buy them. They've become one of my go-to pairs!
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer | I've been using the Nars Creamy Concealer religiously for 3 years but one of the influencers I follow wouldn't stop talking about this Tarte concealer so I decided to give it a try. And wow, I totally get the hype. It has a 4.5 rating and 12,000+ reviews on Ulta and it is absolutely worthy of the praise. It never gets heavy or cakey looking and a little goes a long way.
Express Super High Waisted Cinched Paperbag Jean Shorts | I struggle hard with finding denim shorts, much less comfortable ones. I prefer high waist, not too short and an elastic waist which is admittedly a hard combo to find. Then I saw this pair on Express and they're perfect! I love the style and the fit so much.
Steve Madden Hadyn White Leather sandal | These sandals are touted as dupes for the famous Hermes Oran sandal so if you've always like that style, you're going to love these. They're really comfortable and come in three colors. I was tempted to get cognac and white but I was good and only bought the latter.
J.Crew Factory Sleeveless tiered dress | This is honestly my favorite dress I've bought all summer. Even though I tend to gravitate towards muted and neutral colors, I can't resist a pop of yellow and this is just such a fun and beautiful dress. I love the fit because it's fitted around the top/bust area and flows out nicely without making me seem bigger.
