1 / I will never stop advocating for work-life balance and against the crazy work habits at startups. This post on The Financial Diet is exactly what I've talked about before.

2 / Sometimes I get sick of all the "why being single is actually awesome" articles (even though I agree!) but there are some days where I do appreciate that sentiment being thrown out there, like on The EveryGirl.

3 / One of the girls on Travelettes talks about why her "adventure body" is her "beach body" and it's so empowering and motivating.

4 / I love rose everything these days so when I saw this rose madeleines recipe on Lauren Conrad's site, I knew I had to save it for later.

5 / Even though I do think being nice and polite is super important in your every day, I do 100% with Kristen Bell's statement that kindness is something else entirely.

6 / I love IKEA but I had no idea that their 79 cent dish towel is considered a cult favorite?! I might have to pick up a couple and see what all the fuss is about.

1 / I splurged on a birthday present for myself and bought this rose gold Tiffany necklace. I've worn it almost every day since which means it was totally worth it.

2 / Continuing with my love of all things rose gold, I got these flats from Target and they've been a staple for me this summer. They look great with dresses, jeans and shorts.

3 / If there's one thing in my makeup bag that I have a lot of, it's lip glosses and lipsticks. I'm always trying to find that "perfect" shade and I think I 've got it! L'oreal's Fairest Nude lipstick is just one shade darker than my own lips and just right.
