Life lately
June has been wonderfully busy! There were BookExpo/BookCon events. I went to the ballet a bunch of times. I caught up with friends (all the usuals and people I hadn't seen in a while, which was really nice). I celebrated my birthday. But most importantly of all, it's summer. It finally feels like it and that makes me so happy. For the last couple of weeks, I've even been walking to work almost every morning and I swear, it's the warmer weather just giving me life.

On the blog
Read but not reviewed
- Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han - 4.5 stars; the first is still my favorite but this was a really great conclusion to the series. (I'll forget book 2 exists, thanks.)
- Marked in Flesh (The Others, #4) by Anne Bishop - 3.5 stars; there are too many POVs I don't care for but when the author focuses on Lakeside Court and especially Meg/Simon, I enjoy it SO much.
- Aftercare Instructions by Bonnie Pipkin - 3 stars; super fast and easy read but something was missing. All the characters felt very one-note and I especially wanted more from the MC.
Flights of Fantasy
I read 2 fantasy books, which include: Roar by Cora Carmack and Marked in Flesh by Anne Bishop.
Don't forget, the next book we're reading for FOF Book Club is: Firebird (Fairy Tales #1)

I seriously love that photo! I've got a thing for reflections ;) And that song is definitely one of the songs that is the soundtrack to this summer for me! I've been listening to it since you first introduced me to it.
