August Recap + Flights of Fantasy

August has been a busy month! The besties surprised me with a rooftop screening of Roman Holiday. Then we finally went on a much-needed and long-awaited weekend getaway to Rehoboth Beach. There's been birthdays (dinner for Alexa + a party for my grandmother). Lots of family time. Finding random moments to hang out with friends. There's hardly been any down time but I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Anyway, here's what August has been like on the blog:

Book Reviews

LOVED / Happiness for Beginners by Katherine Center, Son of the Shadows by Juliet Marillier

REALLY LIKED / The Bourbon Kings by J.R. Ward

I LIKED IT / Summer Secret by Jane Green, Another Day by David Leviathan, Anne & Henry by Dawn Ius

IT WAS OKAY / Never Always Sometimes by Adi Alsaid, Rome in Love by Anita Hughes, Legacy of Kings by Eleanor Herman
... Everything Else

BOOKISH FUN / Books in Real Life, Episode 6: TruthwitchFeaturette! Emery Lord + Dawson's Creek, Cinderella Book Tag, BookBags (29): What's in Cassie's Bag?

FEATURES / Stacking the Shelves (25), Short & Sweet (7), Rachel & Carina's Infinite Playlist (104)

Be proud, I read FOUR fantasy books this month! I read Legacy of Kings by Eleanor Herman, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, The Shattered Court by M.J. Scott and Ash & Bramble by Sarah Prineas.
