>> THE BOOK <<
Me Before You tells the story of Lou and Will. Lou Clark is an ordinary, small town girl with a nice family, steady boyfriend and a job at a local cafe. She's content with her less-than-exciting life. Then she loses her job and after a slew of unsuccessful opportunities, she becomes a caregiver to Will Traynor. Will's life has been the exact opposite of hers. Head of a corporation, worldwide traveler, sports extremist. Which makes the motorcycling accident that left him wheelchair bound all the more tragic. She's never worked this kind of job before or done anything outside her comfort zone and he takes his unhappiness out on everyone around him. They don't exactly hit it off at first but along the way they end up changing each other's lives.
This is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking books I've ever read. If you plan to read this (and I sincerely hope you do), be prepared with tissues and be ready to fall in love with these characters.

The movie is set to come out sometime in 2016 which gives you a whole year to read this book plus the sequel (yes, the author also announced that she's releasing a sequel this year but do not look it up until you've read Me Before You first). To say that I'm excited would be a huge understatement.

I hope my post encouraged you to add ME BEFORE YOU to your TBR.
And if you've already read it, well I personally feel like re-reading it after writing this!

Girl, you just made me want to reread Me Before You! That book hurt my heart when I read it years ago, but in the most beautiful way. I'm so, so excited for the film (especially with that cast) and definitely want to reread before I read the sequel and watch the movie!
