The "Winner's Curse" is an economics term that means you’ve gotten what you wanted – but at too high a price. What would you pay too much for?
When I first saw the question we had to answer for the blog tour, I didn't immediately know what my answer would be. As much as I love The Winner's Curse (see gushing review here) and The Winner's Crime, I couldn't think of anything I specifically would pay too much for. Then two now obvious ideas came to me: bags and travel. But more importantly, travel. I've mentioned before that I didn't travel much as a kid because my mom is afraid of flying. Then I inherited that fear and only recently did I finally get over it. But ever since I did, I've been to California, Texas and Chicago in the last year alone (but I've also been to Florida, London and Paris although it's been a while). I've always had a wanderlust bug but now without my fear of flying hindering it, my need to see the world is bigger than ever. And one thing I have noticed while traveling is that I'm totally not a backpacking, let's stay in hostels kind of traveller. I love staying at nice hotels, trying all sorts of restaurants from cheap to expensive, shopping and splurging a bit when I'm away. So yeah, what would I pay too much for? TRAVELING.
I have a couple trips planned this year but one trip I had hoped to make and had to postpone is one to Tokyo, Japan. My heart is pretty set on going, especially since I've never been to Asia and I am determined to go one day (and will need to start saving ASAP!).
ONE DAY YOU GUYS, ONE DAY.

You most definitely need to visit Japan! It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to, and I adore the blend of traditional culture with modernization.
