BookBags (1): Brand New Feature!

Monthly feature where I pair books with bags or share what's in a bag (mine or otherwise!) est. 4/2013.

New feature alert! So obviously I love books but my other love? Definitely bags. I never thought about putting the two together until a couple months ago when I noticed a book on my shelf would match perfectly with my new bag. (Anyone else ever get this thought? Just me? Yeah, I'm not surprised.) I couldn't stop thinking about this idea so I finally decided to give it a try. Here are my first bag + book picks!


(1) My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick + Coach Legacy Candace Carryall
The bag and book that inspired this feature! Yellow is one of my favorite colors and this is without a doubt, one of my favorite bags. It's just so bright and happy. I get a lot of compliments when I use this one.

(2) Fingerprints of You by Kristen-Paige Madonia + Kate Spade Grove Court Floral Maise
I don't own this bag but there is a Kate Spade store right by my office. Last week, I noticed this on display and it immediately made me think of Fingerprints of You (review coming soon!). 

(3) The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa + Jessica Simpson Katie Satchel
I was staring at the many bags hanging on my door when I noticed a bit of purple peeking out. I grabbed it, stood in front of my shelves and my eyes zoned it on The Iron Daughter. When I held the two up side by side, I knew I had another match.

What do you guys think of the new feature? 
Think it's something I should keep doing?

    Oh my gosh I LOVE these!!! I definitely want to start getting stuff that reminds me of book covers. Love this new feature!

      Thanks! It's funny once I noticed one bag that reminded me of a book cover.. I started seeing more of them!

    This is so creative! I love the Kate Spade and the Coach! They're both so gorgeous! I can't wait for the next BookBags! :)

      Thank you! I am partial to the Coach bag ;) My next one will probably be next month! I'm already starting to think about it hehe.

    I lovelovelove the Coach pairing. Firstly because Coach is on of my favorite bag brands, and also because it's such a cute combination! They all go really well together, though. I love this feature! I think it's fun and creative and totally the kind of thing I'd do with my life.

      Thanks!! Coach is one of my favorite brands too. Especially lately.. they're bags have gotten cuter! I love the new Legacy line with all the bright colors.

    Oh my goodness, I adore this feature! I don't have a huge bag obsession (more like I get obsessed with one and carry it for months and months & then find a new bag to obsess over and repeat the process) but I love looking at your pairings. Seriously, they all match so perfectly!
